CCA is an outstanding K-12 school committed to providing the most excellent academic experience. From K-4 to our high school, your child will be welcomed and lovingly pushed to his maximum potential. With age-appropriate methodologies, our teachers build critical thinking skills and mastery of all the traditional core subjects. CCA administrators use regular evaluations and yearly standardized test scores in a continual school improvement process to give our families the most satisfactory school experience and the best preparation for the future.

K4 - K5

CCA's Kindergarten program is committed to partnering with parents in shaping an extraordinary future for your child right from the start. The foundation is an essential part of any construction. This is true for young minds. The foundational networking of a child's brain begins before birth and continues through age five. Your child's foundation starts at home and continues in the classroom. CCA Kindergarten programs provide a language-rich environment, opportunities for academic development, and well-supervised social interaction.

Lower Elementary (1st-3rd)

We build on the solid framework begun at home and solidified in the K4-K5 years. As an extension of the training at home, we partner with parents to teach character development and the skills necessary for academic, spiritual, social, and emotional maturation. The first through third-grade years focus on developing literacy through teaching phonics, fluency, and comprehension. In these early grades, students develop their writing skills and begin exploring history and science with a biblical worldview to be outfitted for the challenges of upper elementary and their future academic pursuits.

Upper Elementary (4th-6th)

The Upper Elementary program links critical transitional years by creating a supportive atmosphere where students thrive, identifying their strengths as they develop confidence and resilience in the face of new challenges and opportunities. During these exciting and sometimes complicated years, we also help and develop students’ growth through activities, chapel, service opportunities, and a healthy mix of co-curricular. Students are equipped intellectually, socially, and spiritually to lean into what comes next.

Junior High ( 7th and 8th)

As students prepare for high school, middle school may not be factored in towards the high school transcript; however, they set a precedent for how students will do high school and beyond. Our teaching staff encourages training, good study, and communication skills. Students have core classes each day: math, history, science, English, and Bible. Several electives are available as students can try new activities or continue developing skills.

Senior High (9th-12th)

High school students at Calvary are well prepared for a successful college career. We have an excellent college-prep curriculum that is customizable. At CCA, we believe your education should be dynamic and immersive. You will not only question, consider, discover, test, fail, and thrive, all while working with exceptional Christian teachers; you will also get a hands-on experience like no other high school in Pohnpei.
